Today was the last one of our concert series at The Open Door Cafe and Day Care Service and we had a wonderful time as always. It’s been an absolute pleasure to get to know this fantastic group of people over the last few months, they sure know how to have a good time 😁
Thank you for your participation, for all the lovely singing and dancing, and for being very open to all our crazy repertoire choices. Special thanks to The Open Door staff for all your help, and Live Music Now Scotland for making it happen. 🎉🎉🎉

Did you know that the Palace of Holyroodhouse guards one of the richest collections of tapestry, the oldest ones dating as far back as the 15th century?

Or that legend has it that the still visible reddish stain on the floor of one of its chambers is the actual blood stain of David Rizzio, secretary and dear friend of Mary, Queen of Scots, who has been murdered by the Queen’s husband, Lord Darnley, and fellow Scottish noblemen?

Thanks to Live Music Now Scotland, today we had a fantastic time performing music of the Restoration Period in the Palace’s Great Gallery, surrounded by majestic portraits of British royalty, and enjoyed a very special private tour afterwards, lead by the lovely staff, Kirsty and Sutherland. We learned lots of cool things about the Palace and the history of the Royal Family.
