Livingston Whisky Club

Livingston Whisky Club Livingston Whisky Club, starting February 2013 a new whisky club for lovers of Whisky and Whiskey in and around Livingston, West Lothian.

There will be a £10 annual membership fee payable before or at your first attended meeting, and yearly thereon. The club will be run by Tom Thomson and David Alexander with support from others as and when needed.

£10-£15 for monthly meetings featuring 5 (or 6) 25cl drams of whisky, held at the Saltire Pub in Livingston. Only those with a valid membership, or paying for one, will be permitted to

attend the whisky tasting events. The organisers maintain the right to refuse membership as they see fit and to revoke the membership of any individual who brings the club or venue into disrepute. Violent or threatening behaviour towards the organisers or fellow members of the club or towards the bar staff and patrons at the Saltire will result in your membership being revoked.

Just in case .... there won’t be a whisky club this month as I forgot to sort the advert with being busy at the day job we will have something end October beginning November but awaiting date confirmation

Hi all just a wee update that the next tasting won’t be until the first Friday in October, so Friday 5th, this allows time to get the lounge ready and prepared and for us to decide exactly which whiskies we will be doing.

Morning All! so here’s the details of the first, in a while, Livingston Whisky Club meeting -

Date: Friday 3rd August 2018
Time: 7:30pm
Location : The Tower Bar The Mall, Craigshill, Livingston
Price: £10 per head payable on the night
What we are tasting: 5 award winning whiskies from Indian (yes you read that right, Indian) whisky company Paul John Whisky for which we will have the company of their Global Ambassador Shilton Almeida.

This is a great opportunity to see why Indian Single Malt whisky is attracting so many awards, and show that it’s not just Scotland that is a whisky superpower.

If you’re coming along tell us and tell all your whisky drinking friends too.

Quick Update Boys and Girls, looks like we have found a new permanent home for Livingston Whisky Club, will hopefully have our first meeting in the next month and go from there. More details as i have them.
