Aberdeen preview went well, though with a of couple stops and starts - still, all the more more chance to talk about our man!
Most pleased that John Reid, Maxwell expert and local Clerk Maxwell Foundation trustee was happy and even said JCM himself would have been "abashed but entirely in approval of the content and approach". Jings!

Tomorrow (June 13th) is Maxwell's birthday, to be marked in Glasgow by talks throughout the day (GU Boyd Orr Building) and a screening of new JCM film "A Sense of Wonder" at Partick Burgh Halls (5pm).
Encouraged by response in Aberdeen (and online since - thanks all!) a Kickstarter campaign towards celebrating Maxwell at this year's Edinburgh Fringe will launch this month. Private "sponsor/producer" previews at Maxwell's birthplace (14 India St New Town Edinburgh) on 15/16th August and public shows at his old school, The Edinburgh Academy later that week.
To see the birthplace and museum at 14 India St, take a look at Jim Al-Khalili's visit. You could make this happen and be there for intimate In Time Of Light previews (100 places only) -

Happy birthday, James. You are, indeed, The Man!
