WELCOME TO THE TEAM!!
We are very excited to have the lovely Nicole McManus co directing alongside Emma Burke in our upcoming Production.
Nicole Sarah McManus studied Performance at Edinburgh College (2014-2017) and University of the West of Scotland (2017-2019). During her training, she acted for stage and screen. She took on a range of roles including Director and Producer. Some unique production experiences she has had was being part of a collaboration between Cumbernauld Theatre and PASS (Sons and Daughters, 2017), performing in Romania (Want Nation, 2017) and at the Traverse Theatre (PASS Out, 2017) with Edinburgh College and producing, directing and performing in Girl in the Machine at UWS (March, 2019).
Nicole was thrilled to embark on a production immediately after her training. She enjoyed working on dark comedy Don’t Leave Me (June, 2019) as a co-writer and performer and shortly after, performing in the fun, uplifting and spooky, Fright Night (October, 2019) with Movado Theatre company.
She is very passionate about the collaboration with True Behaviour Productions on the 5 mini projects. She feels they are important and evocative pieces which she is enjoying getting her teeth into with the rest of its fantastic creative team. Nicole and the company are working hard and looking forward to the release of the projects in the months to come.
In the future, she hopes to continue growing as an artist while building a career in the creative industries through opportunities that are collaborative and utilise her training and artistic skills.
