Our April Gathering at Leith Mills with A New International and the Hame-ish Live acts is TOMORROW! We have a substitution to make- Sid Ozalid is currently experiencing a travel mishap and cannot make the show. Please welcome back Rebecca Green!

Rebecca Green is a writer and visual artist who lives in Edinburgh. She writes, performs, paints, makes objects, and messes about with forms in between, showing work in galleries, theatres, comedy clubs, and everyday spaces.
You can find her at rebeccathecrocus on Instagram.

A final reminder that a ticket for tomorrow includes a meal (I believe it's soup and a sandwich) and is also a cafe-style SEATED show! Seats are great, aren't they? Get down to Leith Mills to see Rebecca, Tracey S Rosenberg, Dog On A Swing, Emily Briggs, Marianne MacRae, and our headliners A New International! TWO DAYS til our April Gathering at Leith Mills with A New International and our Hame-ish Live acts!

At Hame-ish, we’re drawn to places that sit slightly outside the usual circuit. Not quite hidden, but maybe off the beaten track. Spaces with their own character, where audiences and artists can experience a night out that feels like a night in at a venue that is a little different. Leith Mills fits that vision perfectly.

Steeped in history, Leith Mills carries a quiet cultural weight. Once part of the industrial life of the Water of Leith, it feels right to share music and poetry from Scotland-based artists in a setting that already holds so much of the past. To reimagine it as a place where stories can gather again.

From the spectacular café space that is full of texture and atmosphere to the sprawling shopping floor and the antique centre treasure trove tucked upstairs, it’s a place that invites exploration. It’s a place where you can stumble across something unexpected!

We’ve already had the pleasure of hosting our first Burns Supper here, and it’s clear this is a place where culture already exists and thrives. We’re excited about building on that by bringing the distinct Hame-ish style to the space.

There's only one way to make sure you catch Tracey S Rosenberg, Dog On A Swing, Sid Ozalid, Emily Briggs, Marianne MacRae, and our headliners A New International- nab a ticket to our dinner and a show night! Link is in the bio and comment below (click through if this post has been shared)...

It's now LESS than a week til our April Gathering at Leith Mills with A New International Let's welcome back another Hame-ish Live performer...

Dog On A Swing has been having a long nap by the fire, occasionally gigging but has now woken up and is stretching their/his(?) legs. Ed is looking forward to jumping back into Hame-ish Live fourteen months after his last appearance. What songs will he play??

It's just over a week until our April Gathering with A New International at Leith Mills. Before the weekend, it's time to welcome back Sid Ozalid to our Hame-ish Live!

If you like silly you will love Sid Ozalid. High energy, interactive nonsense for the whole family.
From the Edinburgh Fringe to international stages in New York, Paris, Melbourne, and beyond, Sid has built a legendary reputation for shows that are unpredictable, magical and utterly unforgettable.
A wonderful blend of mayhem, magic, poetry, dad dancing and mentalism.

I can tell you that our host Mairi-Claire- who was ill when Sid made his HL debut- will be in for a treat. There's only one way to make sure you catch Sid, Emily Briggs, Marianne MacRae (alongside two more acts to be announced) and our headliners A New International- nab a ticket to our dinner and a show night! Emily Briggs is a multidisciplinary performer who splits her time between spoken word, physical theatre and a touch of comedy. So far this year she was a finalist at the 2026 Scottish National Slam Championships and has been a feature act at the Loud Poets Open Mic and at the Drafted! Slam. Emily debuted her solo show, Garbanzo, at Edinburgh Fringe 2025 after beginning her pathway into spoken word on the Barcelona scene.
