We are delighted to announce the programme for Cymera Loves Romantasy! 🥰

Our inaugural romantasy programme includes panels on monsters and villains, fatal attraction, enchantments and more – plus workshops on writing ballroom scenes, the paradox of high-stakes cosy fiction, and writing intimacy. You'll also find a variety of reader meet-up events focusing on popular romantasy series, and book swaps for both cosy fantasy and dark fantasy. Finally, don't forget agent one-to-ones for romantasy writers and our Fantasy Ball!

Tickets go on general sale on Tuesday 2nd September, with early booking access available for Weekend Pass Holders and Cymera members from Friday 28th August (tomorrow!). Follow the link in our bio to view the full programme, and to grab a Weekend Pass on our website.

Want to help out at Cymera Loves Romantasy? We are now looking for volunteers for Friday 16th–Sunday 18th October, with a variety of shifts and roles available to choose from. As a volunteer, you will be essential in keeping the crowds safe, the tech running and our authors in the right place!

Early Bird Weekend Passes are now available to buy for Cymera Loves Romantasy! 💞

Perks of a Weekend Pass include entry to all in-person and digital panels, access to all panel recordings until 30th November 2026, and early booking access from Friday 28th–1st September 2026, before tickets go on general sale on 2nd September.

A Weekend Pass will also give you early booking access to our first ever Fantasy Ball! Get ready for a night of dancing, live entertainment (including a ceilidh and DJ!), crafts, storytelling and tarot with your fellow romantasy fans in the gothic surroundings of Teviot Row House on Saturday 17th October. We'll be revealing more about the ball in the coming weeks, so watch this space!
