Our Creative team and audition sign up for Les Misérables: School Edition! 🇫🇷✨

Forth Children’s Theatre are proud to announce the three creatives who will be bringing the barricades to Broughton High School in April 2027. 🎭

Lewis returns to direct this sensational musical, having previously directed FCT’s Oliver! (2022), Beauty & The Beast (2022) and The Addams Family Musical (2023). A member of FCT’s Board of Trustees as Creative Advisor since 2023, Lewis has also directed for Stage Door Entertainment, Leitheatre and BTC Productions. He is currently directing FCT & Leitheatre’s The Tale of Eliza Scrooge and BTC Productions’ Frozen The Musical. Lewis is thrilled to return to FCT to tackle one of his favourite musicals!

The dancing queen of FCT returns! Taylor began choreographing for FCT with Oliver!, and has since worked on Beauty & The Beast, Anything Goes, The Addams Family Musical, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, School of Rock and Frozen The Musical. Taylor also directed FCT’s 45th Anniversary Gala and Sister Act The Musical. Principal of Fierce Theatre Schools, Taylor is excited to return to choreograph this iconic musical!

Sandy joins the FCT creative team for the first time as Musical Director, having previously played guitar in the band for Frozen The Musical (2026). An award-winning musician currently studying at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Sandy has experience in composition, conducting youth ensembles and choirs. As a huge Les Misérables fan, he can’t wait to work with our incredible young people!

TIME FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER! 📖🎄👻

Now that the storm of Frozen The Musical has faded, all eyes are now looking ahead to our exciting collaboration with Leitheatre this November for The Tale of Eliza Scrooge. ✨

Auditions for young people will take place on Sunday 6th September at 11am at Madelvic House! We are looking for young people to take on the roles of supporting characters and a haunting choir. 👀

THE FEAR AND COLD ARE GONE! ❄️☃🩵

We are absolutely devastated to be closing the curtain on Frozen The Musical. 🥺

Our cast, crew, creatives and volunteers put their all into this show and the end result was nothing short of spectacular. Frozen was the largest and most complex production we have put on to date. But our team banded together and ensured that we gave this musical a sensational Edinburgh debut. 🫶🎭

We want to thank our volunteers, crew, parents and creatives for really being the dream team and ensuring that we could bring to stage something special for our audiences and our cast. From front of house to backstage, the mentality of getting the job done was brilliant to see, so thank you, on behalf of Forth Children's Theatre's Board of Trustees. 👏🏻🙌🏻

We don't have the words for the praise our cast deserve in bringing this musical to stage, each and everyone of you should be so proud. Good luck with the post show blues! But it's not long till the next production! 👀

Tickets are flying from both our site and the Edinburgh Fringe website! We have limited availability across our run, the best availability is today's matinee, also Thursday and Friday evening's performances.
