Loud Poets: Fringe 2026!

Our sell-out, five-star, 'joyous smorgasbord of words' (AllEdinburghTheatre.com) returns to the Scottish Storytelling Centre this August on Thursdays, August 13, August 20, and August 27, from 8.30 pm.

Combining original spoken word, live music, visuals, and some other tricks, the Loud Poets show rethinks what poetry can be and do. You can expect fist-thumping, heart-wrenching, and side-tickling performances from our very own Kevin Mclean, Dr. Katie Ailes, and Mark Gallie, and resident musician Jack Hinks.

Don't miss out on our 'kaleidoscope of spoken word' (EdFringeReview.com) with different guests every night and a BSL interpreted performance on Thursday, August 27, interpreted by Sarah Forrester.
