SO PROUD OF OUR TEAM

Our song ‘Sunbird’ 🕊️ won the runner-up prize in the Stiles & Drew Best New Song Prize 2025 - an award which was specifically made to honour our song!

A huge thank you to and for a wonderful experience and for supporting and celebrating our work.

A big congratulations to Ashton Moore, Oli Adcock and Zach Burns for their well deserved wins and to all the other incredible writing teams and performers we met on the night.

Now for our personal thank yous ✨

Last year we did the best thing we could’ve done for the continued growth of Immigration Crisis: The Musical and that was to bring on the insanely talented who injected his musical genius into the project, and our latest song Sunbird is a testament to that.

Sunbird would not have been created without the inspiring input of .

And Fatima’s character would not have been as powerful and moving if it weren’t for the talented . How lucky we are to have you perform for us.

This musical is created through a devised process with migrants, second and third generation migrants and asylum seekers, and the same is true of our song Sunbird. A big thank you to everyone below who helped in some way:

It’s been a few days since we premiered some beautiful new work for Immigration Crisis: The Musical at Capital Theatre’s Open Floor Scratch Night at the Studio Theatre in Edinburgh and we are so happy and appreciative of all the feedback.

Thank you to our incredible team who composed, transcribed, musically directed, learned and performed new material in such a short period of time and oh so well. You’re a talented bunch and we’re so grateful to have you on board.

Another big thank you to Capital Theatres for the opportunity and setting the absolute right tone in the space. It was safe, it was celebratory and it was creative and inspiring ❤️

Lastly, thank you to Andrew Perry for capturing us so well! 📸

Hello Edinburgh! We’ve been really quiet on here because our prickly pears have needed a break to renovate houses and raise puppies (more on that another day).

We’re still working on our programme for 2025 and are excited to come to fringe as accredited industry professionals and supportive punters, as opposed to the usual ‘stressed out and sleep-drived producer’ mode that we know a lot of incredible artists are in now.

You’ve got this friends ✨ Enjoy your fringe 💙
