air has established itself as the largest and most prestigious event of its kind in the UK outside London. It is a family-friendly event that caters to avid collectors and first-time buyers alike, and with literally thousands of artworks for sale with price tags ranging from one hundred pounds to one hundred thousand pounds, EAF is an Art Fair sure to appeal to all tastes and budgets. With the inclusion of EAF LIVE, our performance stage for spoken word artists and live music, EAF now brings more to the table and offers visitors far more to do and see making their experience bigger and better. For refreshments, there is a restaurant serving a range of snacks, light lunches, and tray bakes, plus fully licensed bars, and coffee and food kiosks so you can view the event with a glass or two of your choice to help you relax and get into the buying mood. EAF is an event for the whole family, couples, groups of friends, and for individuals, all of who have one thing in common, the love of art. EAF is an annual gathering of creative minds and talents, all displaying original, unique, and cutting-edge work under the one roof of the city’s O2 Academy for three days only. It is an event to be embraced and experienced by everyone.

🎓 ECA Graduates | Special Interest at Edinburgh Art Fair 2025

This year in Special Interest, we’re proud to have showcased two emerging artists from Edinburgh College of Art whose work reminded us that education + raw voice = really exciting art.

Elena Gadd — Sculpture
Her piece “The Funeral” uses masks as vessels of truth. Elena invites us in to explore how we all process grief, how ceremony, culture, and emotion intersect, masking our own selves, acting out roles, concealing and revealing what it means to hurt. It’s powerful, universal, and deeply human.

Hattie Quigley — Oil Painting
A rich, indulgent, and unapologetic celebration of excess. Hattie dives into ideas of femininity, appetite, and desire: food, flesh, myth, pop culture, and our own social narratives of what is too much. Her work pulses with emotion and invites you to indulge in the visuals, then pause to reflect.

Huge thanks to Elena and Hattie for being part of Special Interest! Your vision, courage, and voice elevated the fair in ways that matter 😊

Immerse yourself in Hall of Hours, a new multimedia exhibition by Edinburgh-based artist Robert Powell. Blending printmaking, sculpture, animation, sound installation and text, this show takes inspiration from medieval Books of Hours to explore humanity’s relationship with time: how we structure it, preserve it, and even lose track of it.
