A few weeks ago, young people from schools across Aberdeenshire joined us around the campfire in the Hall at Haddo House NTS to share original pieces inspired by the mythical creatures of Celtic Scotland! 🔥

The concert was an absolute hit! Huge congratulations to all the young people and school staff involved. 👏 And, of course, a massive thank you to our team of freelancers who make it all possible - Abi, Francis, Ewan, George, Clare and Hannelore. 🤝

These projects are funded through Aberdeenshire Council Live Life Aberdeenshire from Creative Scotland's Youth Music Initiative Funding.

Join us tomorrow at Haddo House NTS for Celtic Creatures. Our young musicians in Aberdeenshire have been writing their own original music about mythical Scottish Creatures and willl be performing them tomorrow at 12.30pm.

Come and sit with us around the Campfire at Haddo House NTS and hear stories of Scotland's mythical creatures set to music. Original music has been written by the young people in Aberdeenshire Schools. Celtic Creatures is a concert at Haddo House on 12th May at 12.30pm and is free to attend.

It was lovely to visit Digital Orchestra West's sessions at Newhills School last week. Some real progress happening before our eyes. The first group recorded their own Brazilian music, and the second group were making huge progress with independence and switches.

Digital Orchestra West is part of a larger programme of activity across Scotland, and is funded through Creative Scotland's Youth Music Initiative Access Funding, funding, and David and June Memorial Trust in Aberdeenshire.
