You don't need a fancy gym.
You don't need lengthy workouts.

We got to the end of class tonight then we realised it's been 4 years since our very first Wednesday night class in the local park.

4 years of exercising together outdoors pretty much all year round. And 5 of my current ladies have been with me since that first class 🤩

4 years of workouts, laughter, effort, teamwork community spirit and the occasional insult usually aimed my way 🤣

Here's to the Wednesday night crew & all the ladies who have been part of the journey! Thank you for your support.

'I had a terrible day yesterday. I nearly didn't come to class. But I'm glad I did. I felt so much better after it. I didn't think about work once. My mood was lifted, I felt more productive & all the negativity from the day just disappeared.
Can we have a class every night Tanya?'

Hearing this today really made me smile.

We don't exercise to look a certain way.

We exercise for our mental health.
We exercise to de-stress.
We exercise to feel strong, to feel empowered & to feel happy.

I've been out of action again lately & although I'm frustrated & itching to get back, I can rest easy because I've had this guy stepping in to keep everyone dancing in my absence.

Huge thanks to Zumba Fitness with Ross for coming to Ratho to keep my crew dancing lately. I know my gang are in safe hands, they are whooping well, shaking their hips and having fun and I'm delighted.

Massive thanks to all of you for supporting our class by turning up whoever is teaching that night. It makes my job so much easier knowing that you will all still be ready to dance when I return.

Hopefully I'll be back soon 🤞
