First post in a while to show off this retro decibel level measurement device. Label on the back says 1978! Still works too. I love the clunky sci-fi feel it has!

Here's a photo dump of recent quality of life and aesthetic improvements that have been made to the studio.

Firstly and most excitingly, the Snare Mic which I can't wait to start using in sessions.

Secondly, a big studio rug because no studio is complete without one.

Thirdly, a brand new drumkit.

Fourthly, keyboard corner now has a proper rack.

And finally some good old IKEA Kallax shelving to replace the horrible old filing cabinet!

Excited to start recording and filming again soon!

The newest addition to the microphone collection is the M88. It's a total game changer for the live sessions that we do - allowing us to have drums and vocals in the same room if we want! Sounds incredible on vocals too.

Another round of keys recording today, this time with the lovely Yamaha upright. It's a bit of a mission to get into the studio but worth the results! This session will be going out in a few weeks, keep an eye out for it.

Absolutely loving the recent addition of the
M88 to our collection to. It's incredible for live sessions, but more on that later!

Mic shootout in the studio this afternoon with some of Sarah's favourite mics and Scott's newest addition to the family, the Martin D10. Sounding fantastic!

It was hard to pick a favourite mic, Scott should really practice though!
