Started by a bunch of enthusiasts as a hobby, The Stand has now become a successful commercial company, but one that is true to its roots of developing new comedy in Scotland and giving audiences variety and value. ights, improvised comedy, sketch shows, the all female Wicked Wenches, plus Irish and Scottish showcases. Together with solo shows from better known performers and prime stand-up every weekend, there’s always something going on.
