We are super excited to announce that we have two paid internship opportunities beginning in October of this year!

We have positions as an Assistant Producer and Trainee Creative Facilitator give the opportunity to join our small core team for 8 Weeks (2.5days p/w) between October and November as we work on several exciting new projects.

Searching for Sublime Stupidity!
Calling all who would like to release their ridiculousness on the world…

Plutôt La Vie is calling for acts, 5 to 10 minutes in length for a Clown Cabaret Dinner evening at the Manipulate Festival 2023.

You may have a new idea to propose, or perhaps a more seasoned act, you would like to develop. All types of acts are welcome, including but not exclusive to: Clown, Song, Spoken Word, Dance, New Vaudeville… etc. The key ingredient is your own unique imagination!

Applications are open to individuals or groups. Each act will receive development support and time, a small materials budget, a stipend of £200 and travel expenses for development time, rehearsals and the performance date at the Manipulate Festival, 2 - 12 February 2023.

To apply please send a one page PDF with your name, contact details, your experience (including links to websites video or examples of work), and a description of your ACT or IDEA.

Acts must be between 5 to 10 min. with minimal technical requirements. Sound system & ambient lighting provided.

Application deadline is 28th October 2022 at 5pm.

A shortlist will be selected and auditions will be held in early November 2022.
