Edinburgh City Singers An established Edinburgh community choir. Fun, friendly and relaxed, the Edinburgh City Singers offe We do not hold auditions and no-one is ever turned away.

Open to absolutely anyone, regardless of ability or experience, offering a light-hearted antidote to the more serious side of singing. If you just love singing and want to meet weekly to sing pop songs, songs from musicals, the odd well-known folk tune and simple choral pieces at Christmas, then this could be for you! Instead of being restricted to just one type of music, we do a whole mixture. Re

hearsals are weekly on Monday evenings, from 7 - 8.30pm. There is no sign up fee, no subscription fee and no subs to pay up-front for a whole term - you simply pay when you attend - just £4 a week. Pay as you go! You don't have to be able to sing to any particular level and you don't need to be able to read music. Rehearsals will culminate in two concerts a year - a Summer and Christmas concert - but even if you don't want to perform at these, you can still come to rehearsals, just to enjoy singing.

It’s been a while since we posted so we thought we’d remind you that rehearsals are happening every Monday evening in St Cuthbert’s Parish Church, 7-8:30pm.

Come along and try it out! We are a pay-as-you-go choir so there is no need to pay a subscription.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Virtual Summer Concert. It was lovely to see so many of you tuning in - we miss our audience a huge amount!

An especially huge thanks also to Jamie Lang, Caitlin McGillivray, and Eun-Joo Yoon for sharing their talent with us.

And a massive thank you to the singers for joining in. It's a shame that we can't sing together as one voice, but it's reassuring to know we're all taking part together.
