We all love working with Suzanne Godet. Here she is conducting in slow motion so you can experience what the orchestra experience, and see in detail just how much the music is lovingly shaped by the conductor.

People often wonder what a conductor does, and the basic answer is that they keep everyone in time. But the truth is that the very best ones hold the music within themselves, their dancing hands and facial expressions setting the tone, balancing the colours and making real an internal rendering of the composers vision. They turn the notes into music.

Little throwback to our earlier rehearsals for Cavalleria Rusticana. This workshop was about rhythm and was the first time many of our singers were working off book. It's come a long way to them, but the joy and laughter we all shared in creating this awesome production is still felt today.

To catch the final result see us at Edinburgh Fringe from 12-15 August where we'll be performing both Cavalleria Rusticana and Pagliacci with the gorgeous sound of our emerging professional orchestra players.
