An exciting week ahead for 3 Coburg House jewellers - exhibiting in the inaugural Manchester Jewellery Week 🎉

'SCAPES' opens today at Coburg House - exhibiting pieces founded from Landscape and seascape.

Landscape is never just a place. It is shaped by memory, atmosphere, light and the way we each experience the world. 'Scapes' brings together five contemporary artists whose practices explore the many forms a landscape can take: from expansive seascapes and dramatic skies to intimate fields, cityscapes and imagined environments.

This exhibition reveals the landscape as both subject and starting point. From shifting weather and luminous horizons to the quiet rhythms of urban life and the textures of cultivated land, Scapes celebrates the richness and diversity of the environments that surround us. Across painting, print and mixed media, each artist offers a distinct perspective, inviting viewers to consider not only what they see, but what they feel.

Opening today, Saturday 5th September from 11-4pm, then Sunday 6th, Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September, 11-4pm.

The Travelling Gallery is coming to Coburg’s Art Studios and Gallery this Saturday - tomorrow!

It’ll be parked right outside our doors, ready to welcome you from 10am - 4pm. The Travelling Gallery is Scotland's contemporary gallery in a bus, and we're so excited to have it visit Coburg House again. With free entry, and a brilliant exhibition featuring a variety of artists, is not to be missed.

As part of this year’s Edinburgh Art Festival, there will be a free bus from town to the shore throughout the whole of August: no need to book, just hop on and come visit us. Amazing work from Edinburgh Art Festival so spend your weekend visiting the creative works throughout Leith and the EAF.

**Open Call: Coburg Print Room Exhibition**

Applications are now open for our upcoming Coburg Print Room exhibition, celebrating the best printmaking talent Scotland has to offer. The exhibition will take place on 19, 20, 26 & 27 September, and we're inviting printmakers of all backgrounds to apply.

What you need to know:
• Free to enter and open to all printmakers
• Submit up to 5 original framed prints, ready to hang
• Selected artists can also submit additional wrapped works for our print racks
• Coburg House takes just 20% commission on sales

Key dates:
• Applications close: 31 August, 5pm
• Selected artists announced: 4 September
• Artwork drop-off: 12 or 13 September, 11am–4pm
• Collection: 28 September, 11am–4pm

What an amazing weekend! Thank you SO much to everyone who visited Coburg House Open Studios - we all had a blast, and enjoyed meeting everyone who came through our doors across the weekend.

Big thanks to the local Leith community for pulling together and being part of the weekend - Moonwake Beer Co. Leith Spirits Cafe Domenico - the party wouldn't be the same without you!

Our Open Studios events wouldn't be possible without the hard work of our creative community within Coburg House, so thank you to all the makers, artists, jewellers, and illustrators!
