This past weekend, round 4000 magicians descended on Blackpool for the world’s largest magic convention . Over the course of 4 days we were treated to some of the best magic in the world from hundreds of performers and lecturers sharing their magic with us all.

As the Edinburgh Magic Circle, we were proud to have such a huge representation travel to the convention and it was great fun to hang out with each other throughout the weekend. As we grow, we are not only one of the largest magic clubs in the country, but also (we believe more importantly) one of the most social and together groups there are. It is especially encouraging to see the club continuing to grow as we are currently in our 80th anniversary year.

It was great to see everyone in Blackpool (some of which aren’t pictured) and we look forward to many more events in the future as a club.

What a week at the EMC!

THEN on Tuesday, we were treated to a stunning close-up lecture by the incredible !
