An original, contemporary and jazz-infused score underpins drama, comedy and colourful characters in an era both vibrant and deadly. Soon after the birth of California, the town of Ashfall is thriving, a trend set to continue as beloved lawman Harvey Garris takes the reins following a heroi

c victory over a despised fugitive. A new, yet risqué, relationship with working girl Rose brings the promise of a settled life. Depraved gunslinger Bam Kane hatches a plot with a jealous Deputy, Harvey’s lifelong friend, to steal this new money - the only thing in their way is Harvey, and an earnest undertaker. A murder is staged, a man is framed and Harvey is forced on the run. Soon the town crumbles as Bam’s allegiance with the corrupt Sheriff unravels, leading to bloodshed, whilst Rose sets about bringing home her love, the one man who can reclaim the town. Meanwhile, comical brothers Charlie and Ned Bunting are behind schedule on constructing their utopian town, Newland! That is until a bitter Harvey arrives with guidance in exchange for a place to recover, and possibly start a new life. Locating Harvey, Rose struggles to accept Harvey’s wish to set down roots in this new town, yet stands by him, and before long Newland is on the rise. Harvey finds new allies and grows close to the feisty sister Rebecca Bunting, much to Rose’s concern. Rose watches her man slip away from her as Harvey’s heart is pulled by the two impassioned women. However, shattering secrets emerge and a darker truth to Newland is revealed. Harvey is reminded of his true duty and must make a choice: ignore his past and find love, or avenge his name.
