Introducing InsightsDigital emerging artist, Efi Tetringa.

Efi Tetringa is a dancer and choreographer who studied dance at the Art Factory International in Italy, and at the Aktina Professional Dance School in Greece. With a background in Biology and Neuroscience, Efi combines science, art, and movement to create pattern-driven choreography and precise spatial works; she has developed a unique way of perceiving the world, constantly discovering patterns in everything around her. This same approach shapes her choreography, where the interplay of patterns and the precise mapping of space are central elements.

Efi’s work ‘Endless Currents’ is featured in InsightsDigital at the Adelaide Fringe 2025. This weekend is your last chance to see InsightsDigital as the Adelaide Fringe ends on the 23rd.

Our Story

Insights Platforms is a choreographic platform created in 2009 by Jai Hutchison. Insights Platforms, which was initially designed to support graduates within the performing arts, with the main focus being to provide performance opportunities and to also ensure that graduates did not become disengaged from their practice.

The first ‘Insights Platforms’ was held at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2010. Due to its success, Insights Platforms continued in 2011 with two platforms being held in the U.K; again, at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and also at RADA in London, as a part of the Camden Fringe. Each year the platform continued to develop and support more artists with the last Insights Platforms taking place across the U.K. and supporting emerging artists at events and Insights Platforms in Edinburgh, London, Leeds, Newcastle and Aberdeen; incorporating the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Camden Fringe, and the launch event at DanceLive.

After a hiatus Insights Platforms is returning in 2019 within a fresh approach and new aim of not only supporting graduates, but all emerging artists within the performing arts, regardless of academic standing, as we acknowledge that not all artists train through an education process and we aim to be more accessible and inclusive in the support we offer.

Insights Platforms will hold its relaunch platform at the 2019 Edinburgh Festival Fringe; we hope to see you there!
