☀️🦶 What can we find under our toenails after summer?
Sometimes, after removing summer gel polish we can discover an unexpected surprise… a green nail! 🟢

This discolouration can be caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa – a bacterium that loves warm, moist environments. It can develop when moisture becomes trapped under a lifted or damaged nail.
💧 How to reduce the risk?
Keep your feet and nails clean and dry, change damp socks, let your shoes dry properly and never cover a green or damaged nail with another layer of polish or gel.
⚠️ Found something green under your nail? Don’t ignore it or cover it up.
Have it checked by your Foot Specialist who can assess the nail, clean and treat it appropriately, and advise you on the best next steps.

Fantastic result after using the new Mykogen antifungal therapy.

You can clearly see the healthy nail plate growing back, which is a great sign of progress.
