Jesters. Jokers. Clowns.

An intriguing, soul-searching masterclass exploring these personas through the lens of the theatrical mask.

From Greek trickster gods to Japanese Noh theatre, from commedia dell’arte and opera to slapstick and cartoons, Professor Rosemary George takes audiences on a rollercoaster through the joys and sorrows — the comedies and tragedies — of life itself.

A playful yet probing look at hidden identities in human behaviour.

“The professor’s range and extent of research is clearly apparent” — EdinburghGuide.com
“Brilliantly and eloquently written… Thoughtful… Extraordinarily well-researched” — Audience review

Hiding Behind The Mask: Jesters Jokers and Clowns is available until 22nd March

She’s still here. Still performing. Still dreaming.

Lavinia Draper is an alcohol-soaked performer of a certain age — battling ageism, harassment and the quiet erasure of women in the arts.

But beneath the chaos is hope.

In this bold one-woman show, Susan Campanaro delivers a performance that shatters genre — slipping seamlessly between hysterical comedy and heartbreaking truth.

With a moving score by Lynn Portas, this is a story of survival, resilience and refusing to disappear.

Doing Time With Lavinia is available at until 22nd March

A wildly quirky piece of physical theatre from Japan 🇯🇵

Watching PeoplePeople is like peering into the minds of five characters:
a professor, a punk, a pierrot, a patient and a pupil.

Strangely humanising. Somewhat mad.

Through carefully crafted, highly stylised movement — rooted in the unique language of Corporeal Mime — their inner worlds unfold. The characters speak in Japanese, Chinese and English.

There is no story.
There is no set.
Just five people, being people — in their own surreal way.

PeoplePeople is available until 22nd March.

An intimate story in search of the tomb of ancient Egypt's most beautiful woman, told through history, performance and song.

Last Call For Nefertiti is Available at until 22nd March

A volcano.
A woman.
Creation and destruction intertwined.

Mountain Woman is a solo multimedia performance exploring the raw power of eruption — and the emotional landscapes we carry within.

Through expressive dance, recorded narration, video, music and scent, the audience is immersed in the essence of an evolving mountain.

Performed on a set crafted from recycled and natural materials, this work embodies the sacred feminine spirit — growth, self-destruction and balance — as a call to reconnect with the cycles of the earth.

Elemental. Visceral. Transformative.

Available at Dunedin until 22nd March

Experience a bold theatrical adaptation of one of Japan’s most powerful classic war novels: Fires on the Plain by Ōoka Shōhei.

Reimagined as a solo performance, one actor embodies multiple roles to tell the harrowing story of a soldier lost in the chaos of World War II.

Set on the Philippine front, this visceral and intimate production confronts faith, dignity and survival — through loneliness, hunger and impossible moral choices.

A haunting exploration of humanity at its breaking point.

Available at until 22nd March tickets available link in the bio
