I saw someone in your silver boots today
walking backwards
stepping out
buried deep.

I saw someone in your silver boots today
shining bright
lighting ways
buried deep.

I saw someone in your silver boots today
telling stories
holding stage
buried deep.

I saw someone in your silver boots today
not your boots
her new boots
as yours are buried deep.

Who will take our Dumfries Slam Champion belt from Aditya Narayan??? Poets, you have until midnight on Sunday, 27th April to put your name in the hat to slam!
