I saw someone in your silver boots today
walking backwards
stepping out
buried deep.

I saw someone in your silver boots today
shining bright
lighting ways
buried deep.

I saw someone in your silver boots today
telling stories
holding stage
buried deep.

I saw someone in your silver boots today
not your boots
her new boots
as yours are buried deep.
