The Feed

The Feed Created over a two-year period, The Feed began as a series of Facebook posts made by co-author Brandyn Graves.

A surreal story of obsession in the social media age, The Feed invites you to “open the lid!”

On Saturday August 5, our entire company of 21 students, faculty, and alumni descended on the small congregation of East Kilbride Church of Christ, just outside of Glasgow Scotland. Jon Galloway, the teaching minister who serves here, his wife Arlene, and several members were ready for us!

We spent many hours doing some SERIOUS grounds work. Trimming back trees, tearing out root balls, cleaning up landscaping, tearing out an old bring barbeque pit. No job was too big for the mighty FEED team!

We enjoyed two great meals, including marvelous Scottish fish-n-chips. Then we were blessed to be able to worship with the church and enjoy a game night.

Thanks to all of our donors who made it possible for us to work with the church in East Kilbride Scotland!

One half million visitors come to Edinburgh Scotland for the largest arts festival in the world, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Thousands of shows viewed by tens of thousands of audience members. And Freed-Hardeman University's Theatre program was there in the mix! We performed an original play with a company of 21 students, faculty, and alumni. Our show, THE FEED, was well received by our audiences. But more importantly, our students were exposed to world-class theatre, the rich history of Scotland, and the growth that comes from traveling abroad.

We have many stories to share. Watch for them in the coming weeks and months on The Feed page.

Before we return to the States, we want to thank you for your generous support.
