He was a little worse for wear after 10 rounds with the heavyweight champ, but all in all took it really well and was super happy. ☠️✍️😎 Hey hey hey it’s me JFK, bossman at Black Thorn Tattoo in Edinburgh, Scotland. I was that kid that sat in the back of class john skulls, Demons, and naked ladies in the margins and blank pages of my school books. Of course the teachers would all say things like “you’ll never get a job drawing skulls pay attention to your schoolwork” yada yada. Well here I am just over a year from my 60th birthday and I’ve been tattooing for over 40 years since 1985 when I was 17 years old and I dropped out of school and moved out the house and got a job in a pizza restaurant and started tattooing my punk rock pals in the back room of the house. I got a proper apprenticeship. I learned all stuff the right way. And the hard way. I took my act on the road. First to another state then to another country. I immersed myself in foreign cultures and ways, I learned languages, customs, cuisines and cultures. I met beautiful women and married some of them. We had beautiful babies who are now grown and graduated with masters degree from university. If I had to estimate how many people I’ve tattooed it would have to be 70 or 80,000 maybe? It’s really hard to say. Many of them have become not just a lifelong customers, but my lifelong friends. Many of them travel long distances even over oceans to get tattooed by me. I consider every single person who chooses me as their tattoo artist to be my new friend. I also consider it to be a great honour because they could choose anybody especially these days. So I just sitting here chilling in my house on the Sunday morning and I thought I’d share a few cool pieces that I’ve done over the last few years and just let you know that I’m still rocking. I still have availability. I still love it doing I still consider it an honour when somebody chooses me as a tattoo artist and I still love making new friends and tattooing old friends. I love every tattoo session and try to make it a great fun and interactive experience, and I guarantee you a great tattoo!
