Over two inspiring days I had the privilege of participating in the Viksit Bharat 2047 event, engaging with members of the Indian Scottish diaspora and distinguished guests from India at the Scottish Parliament and addressing attendees at Edinburgh City Chambers.

This event, focused on the role of the diaspora in supporting India’s ambitious Viksit Bharat 2047 vision, was a powerful reminder of the deep and evolving ties between Scotland and India.
