There’s nothing quite like a room full of folk singing along to remind you that music is best shared.

Huge thanks to everyone who joined us at Finnegans Wake Edinburgh last night before the World Cup matches. The singing was loud, the atmosphere was brilliant, and thankfully nobody tried to tackle the band. ⚽🎶🍻

A wee set or two from us before the football later Finnegans Wake Edinburgh. 8:30pm till 11pm.

Congratulations to Dan & Linzi Devlin! 💍✨

The happy couple tied the knot at the stunning Megginch Castle near Errol, a venue with its own bit of movie history, having been used as the backdrop for the The Factors Inn scenes during the 1995 film Rob Roy (see screenshot within photos).

Dan and Linzi booked our 6-piece band for their special day and chose “Better Man” by for their first dance, followed by the timeless “Sweet Child O’ Mine” for the father-and-daughter dance. What fantastic song choices!

We’d like to wish Dan and Linzi a lifetime of happiness together and say a huge thank you for choosing us to be part of such a memorable celebration. We hope to see you both again at one of our live shows in the future.

🎶🥂💕

Huge thanks to the organisers of Haddstock for another cracking weekend of music, arts and organised chaos.

We were delighted to host the open mic launch event for the third festival running — which means it’s now officially a tradition and probably too late for anyone to stop us.

Massive thanks to Jasmine, Lynsey, Ron, Mike, Richard and Chris for the stellar performances. Between them, every instrument on site was played at least once, several tunes were absolutely butchered (mainly by Toonster) in the best possible way, and the crowd got progressively more lively as the evening and refreshment rolled on.

By the end, the room was bouncing and folk were nicely warmed up to stagger ‘doon-the-street’ on their way to the comedy night.

One wee parting note though: please don’t ask us about running regular open mic nights — this is strictly a Haddstock special occasion. Like Brigadoon, but louder.

Cheers to everybody who came along and helped make it another belter of a night.
