✨YOUTH COMPANY AUDITIONS✨

We are looking for talented young dancers to support our professional pantomime cast in Dick McWhittington at Portobello Town Hall! 🧡

Performances take place between Friday 4th - Sunday 27th December 2026, including daytime performances at 10am.

We are looking for a total of 48 dancers (six groups of eight) aged 8-14 from across Edinburgh and the Lothians. Each group will get approximately 2-3 performances per week, which will limit the amount of time needed off school.

AUDITION DETAILS:

🗓️ Wednesday 9th September & Thursday 10th September 2026
⏰ Junior Auditions: 5pm - 6:30pm | Senior Auditions: 7pm - 8:30pm
📍 Portobello Town Hall

We encourage applicants from all backgrounds and of any gender to apply. Applicants must be competent in dance; be hard working; have the ability to learn routines quickly; work well within a team; and have a positive attitude!

Before applying, you must seek confirmation from the relevant school teacher(s) that the applicant will be permitted to have time off school for rehearsals and performances.

🩸 JEKYLL & HYDE 🩸

We are excited to announce our next production - Jekyll & Hyde, performing from 22nd – 24th October 2026!

Based on Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic tale, Jekyll & Hyde is a dark and powerful musical exploring the battle between good and evil, love and obsession, and the duality within us all. The show features an unforgettable score, including “This Is the Moment”, “Someone Like You”, “Confrontation” and “A New Life.”

Our production will feature a talented local cast, led by a professional production & technical team, and accompanied by a live orchestra!
