We’re delighted to present a varied programme featuring works by Purcell, Corelli, Bach and Vivaldi, alongside James Oswald’s Sonata of Scots Tunes.

The Telling presents Purcell, The Musical
Sunday 26th April, 7.30pm - Assembly Roxy, Edinburgh
The Telling return to Scotland with their 4-star (The Times) concertplay by award-winning writer Clare Norburn with BAFTA-nominated director, Nicholas Renton.
Composer Henry Purcell is not feeling well. Under pressure to finish a song, a series of surreal experiences transports him back in time. Plus, his wife keeps bursting into his songs! Interwoven into the drama are Purcell's compositions: from b***y theatre ballads and joyful celebrations of love, to slow airs, a ‘mad song’, and numbers from his semi-operas.
