Claire Eyestone plays the “Actor” in “Do Androids Dream of Electric Friends”
“With a BA in Theatre Arts Education, Claire has devoted herself to building a well-rounded expertise in all elements of theatre and performance. She has explored traditional stage roles like Cecily Cardew in Hale Center Theatre Orem’s The Importance of Being Earnest and has been the lead in devised theater runs produced by the Covey Center, Nelke Theatre, and Heritage Park. In addition to her principal roles in film and voiceover projects, Claire has also been the costume designer for both television and live theater, as well as designing props and operating the lights in various productions. Her love of the many disparate pieces that make an electrifying live show is what has led her to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and this devising project. When she isn’t acting, she is teaching high school theatre, where she also directs.”

Esther Pielstick plays the “Engineer” In “Do Androids Dream Of Electric Friends” 💫
“From Anne Shirley in Anne of Green Gables to The Player in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, Esther finds joy in immersing herself in the eccentricities of her character and finding what is deeply human about each of them. While earning her BFA in Acting, Esther was nominated for KCACTF and participated in the Student Emmy Award winning animated project, Papa. She has also explored opportunities in working behind the scenes, including producing/writing Prothero–which she also starred in–taking home Best Original Script from the Great Salt Lake Fringe Festival in 2021. Esther originated the concept that Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? was devised around, and is beyond thrilled that she has been able to bring it to this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival. When not performing, Esther is a livestream producer for television and film projects and a devoted cat mom.”

"Winning my personal award for most intriguing title of a play, Do Androids Dream of Electric Friends? from Robot Roommate Company is a stimulating delight that leaves me curious for more."
"There are very few shows that I wish were longer, but this one-hour, multimedia theatrical experience kept me on my toes. Why? Because the audience is the AI."
