FESTIVAL FOLK at THE OAK will not take place in 2024. Thank you to the many musicians, locals & visitors who have supported the concerts in the Wee Room downstairs at THE ROYAL OAK, EDINBURGH over the years.
Please continue to support live music wherever you can...... Especially at EDINBURGH FRINGE & the OTHER SHOWS DOWNSTAIRS at the ROYAL OAK DURING THE FESTIVAL (search The Royal Oak as 'venue' on the Fringe website for details & tickets).... Music in the upstairs bar at the Royal Oak continues throughout the year including during the Festival.
If you are in Edinburgh at other times of the year, The WEE FOLK CLUB CONTINUES to have concerts with many of the same wonderful musicians, every Sunday (September to July) at 8pm in the downstairs room at The Royal Oak, Infirmary St. Edinburgh EH1 1LT...... Follow or search for The Wee Folk Club on Facebook for information about upcoming gigs & how to get tickets. Or if you are in Edinburgh, call in to the Royal Oak Bar (3pm to 2am daily) and get more information (posters & flyers & tickets for sale in the week of the concert).
