MEET THE TEAM! 📢

The final member of our Going Soft team is Bethany McGurl, our producer! 🤩

Bethany is a passionate performer and theatre educator. She loves to share her love for the stage with young creatives 🎭

She has previously taught theatre at an American summer camp and is currently working there now! 🇺🇲

Bethany is thrilled to see Action Theatre Scotland have its first full Fringe run and will be cheering the team on from 3,000 miles away! 🫶

MEET THE TEAM! 📢

Ruth Walker is our Choreographer 🤩

Ruth is a dance teacher and choreographer with a love of storytelling through dance and movement. She trained at Dance Inc Studio Centre and has been teaching dance classes since 2019 to children and adults in various different settings 🕺

Her choreographic work 'The Verdict' was performed as a part of Springboard at the Edinburgh Fringe last year! 🌟

She's incredibly excited to be a part of the Action Theatre Scotland team for Going Soft and has choreographed their opening number! 🧩

Christopher Nicol is our Assistant Director! 🤩

Chris studied at New College Lanarkhire and graduated this year with a BA in acting 🎭

Theatre credits include: Hedda Gabler (Impact arts), Alba (EK Arts Centre, Edinburgh Fringe, 2024 Tour), Flatmates (Glasgow acting academy) 🌟

Going Soft is Chris's directorial debut and he is very excited to be on board with this project! 🫶
