On Sunday November 10th, we are deighted to be presenting our production of the smash-hit comedy BLACKADDER GOES FORTH with our friends at Tree of Life Centre, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

This beloved sitcom is brought to you by the talented chaps and chapesses of Talking Shadows Theatre.

Join Captain Edmund Blackadder and his faithful sidekick Private S. Baldrick as they prepare cunning plan after cunning plan to avoid Operation Certain Death.

With capital support and buckets of foolish optimism from Lieutenant George; a pig-headed refusal to look reality in the face from General Sir Anthony Cecil Hogmanay Melchett (VC, KCB, DSO); more ennui-inducing in*******se than curating a lorry load of paper clips from Captain Kevin Darling; and guest appearances from Lord Flashheart and Corporal Bob Parkhurst - the scene is set to revisit some of the most loved comedy characters of all time.

By kind permission of Richard Curtis and Blackadder

6pm

After a phenomenal run at the Edinburgh Fringe, we are still climbing back down to normality.

We were hugely lucky to have such supportive audiences; and would like to share the feedback for our show GOLD which celebrated and commemorated the ordinary soldiers of D-day.

Our fourth show of this year's Fringe is Gold. June 6 1944: over 25,000 troops land in Normandy for the largest amphibious invasion of all time. Their destination: codenamed Gold Beach. Their mission: to deliver a final blow to the N**i stranglehold on Europe. But beyond the political rhetoric and military strategy are boatfuls of ordinary young men – farmers, clerks, students, entertainers – who find themselves catapulted to the forefront of history.

The 'poor, obscure, plain and little' orphan, forced to find her own way in the world, surrounded by mists of secrets and unspoken truths, has enthralled generations of readers. Vividly drawn characters, gloomy gothic passageways, terrible revelations and suppressed passions whirl around the central character in a novel which revolutionised prose fiction and remains one of the best-loved books of all time.

We have soooo many plans to bring you more wonderful theatre this Summer.

But until we let you in on all our little secrets, how about some trips down memory lane with some pics from our 2023 production of Tom Brown’s Schooldays: the original school novel, and the horribly universal tale of how the British Establishment seeks to silence the ‘little man’.

“Still just as relevant as when it was first written”
“A seminal story of school life”

We have soooo many plans to bring you more wonderful theatre this Summer.

But until we let you in on all our little secrets, how about some trips down memory lane with some pics from our 2023 production of OTMA: the haunting tale of the Romanov Duchesses…

“Beautifully written”
“A pleasant and melancholic elegy”
“Excellent performances”
