Now that the glitter has settled, the hangovers are gone and we have time to reflect, we just wanted to extend a few words to all of you that joined us at the weekend
We started doing Rainbow Cabaret not just as performers who wanted to showcase the amazing talent we have within the LGBTQIA+ community but also because we wanted to celebrate just that...community
Q***r people are often pushed to the fringes of society and when included its often as a commodity, a punchline, a token and this can lead to feeling of isolation and othering. Thats why the community is so important because we choose our own family, we find spaces that uplift us and show us that our love and identity is just as beautiful valid and important as anyone elses
This show was forged in a sea of love and celebration two years ago, but there's no denying how things have changed since then. The world is becoming an increasingly scary place for us and we are finding that were being asked to make ourselves smaller and less visible in more and more spaces and platforms
Well, on Saturday you all more than showed up. That room was full and not just with butt's on seats but with joy, love, acceptance and celebration both on and off stage
And we cannot thank all of you enough for coming on that journey with us and being ready for the party. And what a party we had!!
Were eternally grateful to be able to call this a job, and yes its hard in this current climate, but oh do our supporters make it so much easier to keep on keeping on.

We also want to thank our venue CC Blooms for not just letting us do our thing there, but fully supporting us. The staff are incredible to us, and we genuinely look forward to every time we get to step through those doors to be welcomed so warmly. It makes it such a pleasure
And whilst the current show will change, we delighted to say we WILL be back in August at CC Blooms to continue our mission of LOVE and UNITY. And if the world feels like it has closed its doors on you, we promise ours is always open.
