It is a large venue provided for the use of community based activities as well as being made available to hire for:

Private Functions
Charity Events
Children's Parties
Business Meetings/Conferences
Weddings
and much more. We have a fully licensed bar as well as a fully equipped kitchen with our very own catering team. We have disabled access and facilities as well as child-safe doors. There is a

large stage which can be hired for your event, which we also use to provide our own entertainment. There are two main rooms, the large hall and the suite. There is also a bar area that can be separated from the rooms or opened up to either room. Free parking is available to the rear of the venue via the Eckington Swimming Pool. For further details abut the venue or to request a booking, feel free to contact our team. Are room hire charges are very competitive! We welcome new visitors and hope to see you at our upcoming events.

Tomorrow's Country Night has been fully booked for a couple of weeks now, so we are expecting to see the dance floor packed with cowboy boots & country dancing 🤠🎶

Bar will be open & 'cowboy-friendly' food will be available to purchase on the night 🙂

This Saturday, 12th September: Sell your valuables!
Prices of metals are very hight so if you have some valuables you would like to turn into cash it might be the right time.

Nottingham Precious Metals will be in the Civic next week - Saturday, 12th September between 11am - 3pm.

Paul will value your goods for free and can pay you for those, but there is no obligation for you to sell.

Which items shall you bring? Anything such as pocket watches, wrist watches, coins, vintage costume jewellery, large silver items or wedding rings (just to name the most common items)

LEGO CLUB – APOLOGIES FOR THE CONFUSION

We are really sorry to anyone who came to the Civic Centre today to new Lego Club - the club leader has decided to postpone the start until next month, but this change was not communicated to us.

We completely understand how disappointing this was to those who made the journey. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.

The good news is that LEGO Club will start on 7th October. We hope to see many of you back!

Our lunches & bingo are open to public on Mondays and Thursdays. Lunch is served at 12:30 and games follow afterwards.
On Wednesdays the club is open to 'Over 60s members and their guests'. Lunch is served at 12:15 and games follow afterwards.

We cater for people with food intolerances and food allergies, or you can order salad instead.

💃🕺 Sunday Social Dance is back 🕺💃!
Join us this Sunday for our monthly Social Dance Afternoon at Eckington Civic Centre!
Enjoy a traditional ballroom & sequence dance afternoon featuring Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Cha-Cha, Jive and more. It begins with live organ music played during the whole session.

Everyone is welcome - from beginners to an experienced dancers, solo dancer or pairs, group of friends. This is a great way how to socialise, get out of the house, meet new people or catch up with old friends. Ultimately we are sure you will enjoy a lovely afternoon of music and dancing!

Please note, this is a social dance event and there is no formal tuition.

FREE LEGO CLUB
New after school club for children at the Civic is starting this Wednesday! Simm will run this club every second Wednesday of each month.
🔸 From 9th September between 5-6:30pm
🔸 Suitable for children of any ages
🔸 FREE
🔸 No need to pre-book

All children has to have their adults with them. The adults do not need to interact or take part in any activities, they can just sit and watch, grab a drink from the bar or chat with other parents.
