A regional powerhouse for contemporary dance, theatre and combined arts, The Point presents bold, innovative and inspirational new work. Through creative residencies in our world-class Creation Space and our trail-blazing Associate Artist Scheme, we support artists to develop new work and reach new audiences. We specialise in programming risk-taking contemporary performance. Our programme of professional dance, theatre, comedy and film attracts the very best British and international artists to the region. Engaging thousands of participants each year, we teach skills, raise aspirations and inspire the next generation, developing Eastleigh as a creative community. Owned and managed by Eastleigh Borough Council, The Point became one of Arts Council England’s National Portfolio Organisations in April 2015, and had its NPO status renewed until 2025.

HALLOWEEN AFTER DARK AT THE POINT! 🖤

Burlesque, bizarre cabaret and a little Halloween mischief! Hundred Watt Club returns to The Point on Saturday 31 October with an evening of wickedly entertaining performances, from spine tingling st******se and madcap comedy to dizzying circus stunts. Expect the unexpected, with plenty of dark glamour and grown up fun along the way.

Dress for the occasion! Vintage attire and Halloween glamour are encouraged, whether you fancy a spellbinding look or something deliciously dark.

Fancy learning a few tricks of your own? A burlesque workshop is available too!

Over 18s only. Contains strong language, adult themes, partial nudity, loud noises and flashing lights.

Christmas is coming to The Point!

Join us on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November for our much-loved Christmas Grotto and festive Makers Market, and get your Christmas celebrations off to a magical start!

Father Christmas is making a special visit to The Point before heading back to the North Pole to get all those presents packed and ready for Christmas Eve! Little ones can enjoy a song and story with Santa, collect a gift and have their photo taken with the man in red himself. It’s the perfect way to get children excited for the festive season!

Don't forget to bring those Christmas wish lists, too! Our festive post box will be ready and waiting for little ones to post their letters to Father Christmas.

Our Grotto is always popular, so book your tickets early to avoid missing out!

On Saturday 21 November, browse our Christmas Makers Market, meet talented independent designer-makers and get your Christmas shopping started with unique gifts for everyone on your list. Entry is free, and our Café Bar will be serving festive treats too!

Both events are part of Eastleigh’s BIG Christmas Light Switch On, with a town centre full of festive fun, including market stalls, fairground rides, street performers and fireworks.

Once Upon a Wiggle goes spooky!

Get ready for some Halloween fun at our next Once Upon a Wiggle session on Wednesday 28 October!

We’ll be getting into the Halloween spirit with a reading of We’re Going on a Ghost Hunt, alongside plenty of music, movement, games and crafts for little ones aged 2–6 years.

And this time, we’ll be joined by Eastleigh Library - Hampshire County Council, who will be bringing some extra storytelling fun to the session!

The Rotary Shoebox Scheme is back!

We’re delighted to be supporting the Rotary Club of Eastleigh once again with the Rotary Shoebox Scheme, helping bring a little joy to children and families facing difficult circumstances across Eastern Europe.

From now until Friday 30 October, you can pick up a shoebox from The Point Box Office, fill it with suitable gifts and return it to us ready for the Rotary team to deliver.

You can fill your box with things like toys, toiletries, school supplies and small gifts. Shoeboxes are available for different age groups, from babies and children to teenagers, and each box comes with a handy leaflet explaining what you can include.

This brilliant initiative has delivered more than 1 million shoeboxes over the past 30 years, and we’d love for our local community to help make this year’s collection another success.
