Donated blood today and honestly it was a great experience. 🩸

The staff were absolutely lovely — friendly, reassuring and somehow able to keep everything running incredibly smoothly. From start to finish it was efficient, calm and genuinely pleasant.

Also slightly surreal watching a bag slowly fill up with what is apparently mine. The human body is a weird but impressive bit of kit. 😅

Huge credit to the team who make the whole process feel easy and relaxed. You can tell they genuinely care about what they do.

Plus there’s the important post-donation reward: sitting down with a drink and a biscuit like you’ve just completed some heroic quest.

If you’ve ever thought about donating blood, I’d definitely recommend it. It’s quick, easy, and a small thing that can make a massive difference. ❤️
