Another job lot of lovely wood picked up from Linwood Timber. A couple of beautiful and gnarly apple wood planks. Plenty to keep us busy for a while making chopping and display board stock for C&@ sales (excuse the C word!).

Second day at Summer Fair. We had a great first day and looking forward to a cooler second day.

Spent this morning setting up our stall for the Canford Summer Fair, over the weekend. Such a beautiful location. Managed to drop in to Linwood Sawmill Limited afterwards, to buy more chopping board wood and then a river swim in the Stour to freshen up.

Lovely to have helped at Wilderness again. The Information Tent Team are so lovely and it was so rewarding to help so many festival goers. Each year I make a different wooden badges for the team, to remember the weekend. This is this year’s design, which I also adapted for sign. Laser cut and engraved natural and blue coloured wood.

Made these two cake and cut platters from the two ash planks at the top of the pile (from Linwood Timber). They are prototypes for a local cafe to check out.
