I have decided not to be on facebook as much as I was but am sharing this post for Matthew Peter John Boden. I am very grateful to again for this amazing reference photo he took, at sunrise. It's an amazing photo and I hope I did it justice, it had so many colours in the flash of colour I had to keep changing it. I always think rainbows are signs of hope and good luck. For anyone that sees this picture and needs some hope and good luck I hope its a sign you will soon have some.

The carpet gardens in Eastbourne can be really stunning and must take alot of work to upkeep. I really wanted to paint them but when I walked down there, they were empty and I could only find I had one photo. So had to work from that. I wish I had taken a photo from the jubilee as it was really beautiful then. Anyway this is what I have managed it's nearly finished not too much left to do now.

I started some of these pictures ages ago but I didn't finish them, so managed to work on them again this week. As most of you know I really love sunsets and sunrises, the amazing colours and shapes you get in the sky! These are all done using photos by who takes some amazing sky photos. Thank you Matthew for letting me use your reference photos. Most of these are of Royal Sands Beach in Weston Super Mare.

This weekend and next weekend it's for artists and maker's and I am pleased to have some of my work in @42 along with other artists which is open both days from 12 til 6pm, I will also have a couple of pictures in my friends open house in Old Town which is a big collaboration of different artists. Its a great time to meet fellow artists and find some unique artwork.

Famous last words that I had my creative flow back! I do have several pictures on the go but nothing finished just yet.
I am however pleased to be part of and at @42 the open evening is this Thursday at 6pm, there are several artists in this exhibition which will be interesting as the pictures have a Sussex theme.

Another picture I have done screwing up some aluminium foil to add texture after watching Jay Lee painting on you tube such inspirational paintings.. I have really enjoyed using acrylic paints for a change and now aim to start doing more angel pictures in acrylics. I know I haven't been on Instagram/facebook much since my mums death, but I have now got my creative flow back and aim to start painting more. Thanks to all the people that still support me, its much appreciated.
