Henrietta Hippo is very excited to share the Royal Hippodrome Theatre's exciting news!

The Royal Hippodrome Eastbourne is pleased to announce that for this Christmas we have been chosen to host the stage version of the UK premiere of DAVID WALLIAMS' THE FIRST HIPPO ON THE MOON. The production which is produced by highly acclaimed theatre company, Les Petits (the team responsible for Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs), follows the amazing success of David Walliams' Gangsta Granny production and previews at the RHT on 13th December and then has numerous performances until 7th January. It will then embark on a UK wide tour before a 10 week placement in London's West End.
This is an amazing opportunity for the Royal Hippodrome and Eastbourne and we hope that everyone will come and see this fantastic show. It's ideal for all the family, and the length of the show makes it ideal for those pre-schoolers who have never been to a theatre before.
Tickets go on general release at 2pm on Friday 29th April and will be available from the box office on 01323 80 20 20 (no booking fees!) or online www.royalhippodrome.com
Tickets cost from just £9 with great prices for group and family purchases.

Sadly, we have no Henrietta Hippo Funhouses's coming up but there are plenty of other family friendly shows at the Royal Hippodrome in the coming months.

Disney's Beauty and the Beast JR is on during February half term, brought to you by the team who produced our previous Disney's Little Mermaid and Aladdin productions.

CBBC's Bear Behaving Badly: The Jam Sandwiches and Ice Cream Tour is on 19th March at 130pm and 430pm
Rattonian Youth Presents: Summer Holiday on 30th March - 2nd April (Easter holidays)
Rapunzel Rocks by Wicked Productions who brought us "Robin Hood" and "Treasure Island" is here on 4th and 5th April (Easter holidays)
SING-A-LONG-A FROZEN (U) with Anna, Elsa and a host is on 7th May at 230pm (with SING-A-LONG-A DIRTY DANCING (Cert 15) for the grown ups that evening!)
Lazy Town Live on Stage! is on Saturday 11th June 2016 at 2:00pm
