Week one done!

Despite the weather picking exactly the wrong evening to misbehave for our opening night, we’ve enjoyed three wonderful shows and fantastic audiences.

A huge thank you to everyone who has joined us, hosted us, volunteered and supported us during the first week of our summer tour.

We are thrilled to announce that our founder, Peter Talbot, has been awarded an MBE in the King’s Birthday Honours for services to the arts.

For nearly thirty years, Pete has brought original theatre, music and laughter to communities across Southern England, building The Rudes into the company we know and love today.

A wonderful and richly deserved honour. Congratulations, Pete!

Well... the weather wasn't playing ball yesterday so we go again TODAY! The weather is looking lovely for tonight's OPENING NIGHT of 'The Wife' at Burnham Park Hall! 😎😎😎

⚠️ Due to strong winds, tonight’s performance of The Wife at Friston Place has been cancelled.
We’re very sorry for the disappointment and for the late notice. We have monitored conditions throughout the day, but the weather on site is not suitable for outdoor theatre.
Ticket holders wishing to transfer their tickets or request a refund should contact us at [email protected].

It's opening night for 'The Wife' - we can't wait to share this show with you!

Weather Update

Tonight's performance is currently scheduled to go ahead as planned at 7.30pm.
​
Although some forecasts, including the BBC, are showing rain for this evening we are hopeful that the band of rain coming from the west will have passed by the time the performance is due to start.
​
If anything changes and the show is called off then all ticket holders will be notified via email by 4pm today.
