The Rude Mechanical Theatre Company The Rudes create original, dynamic theatre blending mime, white face make-up, slapstick comedy, and live music.

Known for our engaging, physical storytelling, our shows offer magical evenings of live entertainment under the stars. Our shows - which are inspired by and deeply rooted in the commedia - are aimed at adults but enjoyed by all ages and are performed both indoors and outdoors. We use only professional physical theatre actors and actor-musicians trained in mime, clown or commedia. Most members of our team are also musicians ad our music is live and integrated with the action.

Another season comes to an end.

We'd like to offer a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came to see The Wife this summer. It's been a joy to share the show with you.

Thank you, too, to all our wonderful venues, local organisers and volunteers who helped make the tour possible.

It's our final week of shows! Wow, that went fast! We still have tickets available this week on Wednesday at 7.30, Thursday at 2.30 and 7.30.... you'll have to be quick though! 😀

If you have tickets to see us this week don't forget to bring a cushion - seating is provided but we recommend bring a cushion for extra comfort.

Also we have a bar too selling w**e, b**r, fizz and soft drinks! 🥂🍾
