I’m forever looking for the glimmers and I’m happy to say yesterday was full of them🥰
✨I woke up to test results that were finally good news
✨The sun was shining and my birds were outside waiting to be fed
✨We visited Brighton and I stroked lots of dogs
✨I hoped I’d see the murmuration and it was the most magical and beautiful that it’s ever been
✨I had my fortune read by Zoltar
✨I wasn’t going to have a browse in my favourite Jewellery shop as I’d visited not long ago. But I decided to. And they had stock from one of their other shops and I found the most beautiful butterfly ring by a designer that is usually expensive but it was on sale!
I’d been looking for the perfect butterfly ring for about a year, but had not seen anything I really liked-meant to be🦋
✨We stopped at a wine bar and had some lovely wine and nibbles
✨When we got home Paul had ordered me the Lego Gizmo🥰
✨Soph was excited we were home and we all sat on the couch together😻
I feel grateful 💕

I keep seeing posts about today being blue Monday, and how it’s the “saddest day of the year”
Apparently it actually started as a travel company campaign to sell more holidays!🙄
But January can genuinely feel hard.
The days are short. The weather’s dull. And a lot of us put pressure on ourselves with New Year’s resolutions and ‘fresh starts’
So if today feels heavy, be kind to yourself
Do something for yourself that makes you feel happy, even something as simple as watching an old episode of your fave tv show, or making your fave snack.
And remember, tomorrow is another day.
The sun will shine again, even if today is cloudy. ☀️✨💕

These last few years have tested me, tried to break me and almost succeeded.
But I fought on because that’s all I know how to do.
We’re all going to see social media posts about people’s ‘wins’ during this time of year.
But if you’re still here you won too.
Success is loud online; survival is quiet.
We continue to get out of bed, we keep trying, we keep loving and we don’t let life break us.
We didn’t let the harshness of life make us unkind.
If this resonated with you and you’re still choosing empathy, still choosing softness, still choosing hope — that matters and I hope you know this, you are important, and the world is better with you in it.
