And Just like that my time as a member of 1066 youth theatre has now finished. Although only with them for two years i have made some absolutely unforgettable memories with them. This year I was mainly on DSM and Lighting Designer duties, but i also spent my time set designing, making things, fixing things. All to create this incredible show (which unfortunately did not have a cameo from luna the mascot) By far this is one of my favourite shows i’ve ever been involved in. upwards of 35 cast, 81 lighting fixtures, and a lot of very long days but I am happy with the results! Thank you Niall Whitehead and barb for the opportunities and support you have given me

It was a while ago now but back in July, i completed a MAMMOTH project with NRPA Eastbourne on their theatre festival weekend where we hosted two musicals over the same weekend with different classes. Matilda Jr in the Main Hall and Into the woods Jr in the drama studio. I sound and Lighting Designed the both of them. Handed off into the woods onto operators and found my home mixing Matilda Jr.

Overall between the spaces i was running 51 fixtures, Two sound Desks two lighting desks, a hell of a lot of cues and a whole lot of fun! SEL Live provided us with the lighting/truss hire for matilda and the sound equipment for into the woods and owen events the absolutely beautiful sound gear for matilda. This weekend was a real testament to the incredible work we can achieve at NRPA

Recently I finished a monumental task, a group of 13, 16-19 year olds created and put on a production of hamlet. High School Hamlet was a collaborative project where between us we took on all the parts of putting on a production.

I officially was the Production Manager, Sound & Lighting designer, and Stage manager. But I also mentored, aided in the direction of the show and did many jobs in between

this production has taken me to portslade to get fencing swords, stores buying set materials at 7:00am and to the pub many times!!

I have just had a lovely two days with and their production of Annie Jr at the programming and operating both sound and lighting, We had a lovely rented M32 and stagebox from u2m, 8 ways of radio and my pa system as well as the pavilions house lighting rig. it was a lovely sounding show with some incredible talent!

Today I finished my work on Storms, Maybe Snow at the written and directed by Miranda Lapworth. Over 60 hours in 6 days...

Today I finished my work on Storms, Maybe Snow at the written and directed by Miranda Lapworth. Over 60 hours in 6 days and a couple hurdles here and there but we got there! It was amazing to work with this production that will next be seen in london! But no rest for me as the next show starts tomorrow! Hope you enjoy the photos :) (and the extra one of me with 300m of speaker cable)
