DOWNLAND SINGERS A small, friendly choir of mixed voices based in Willingdon, East Sussex. We teach the rudiments of music reading as we rehearse.

We are a small, friendly choir which meets at Trinity Church, Coppice Avenue, Willingdon on Thursday evenings from 1930 – 2100hrs. We are keen to attract new members in all sections, but particularly gentlemen to ensure a good breadth of sound. Whilst an ability to sight-read music is desirable it is more important to be able to follow the line of a s

core and enjoy participating with an enthusiastic group of singers. The aim of the choir is to give pleasure to both singer and audience through a wide repertoire, ranging from modern musicals to music from the past, and sacred music for Christmas and Easter.
