"Sometimes Festival 2023 was an all round spectacular day, with a diverse mix of bands crossing multiple genres and hailing from various different parts of land, the atmosphere was incredibly joyous.

As an artist at Sometimes, the interactions with crew were always helpful and incredibly friendly only adding to the feel of such a community centred event. Throughout the day, whether it was chatting with other bands in the green room or conversing outside with attendees, there was a mutual respect and sense of gratification shared between everyone present.

Sometimes should be seen as a standard for community led events in areas like Eastbourne, blending the best aspects of grassroots music with a genuinely heartfelt common goal between everyone involved to stress the importance of such a vital matter in current times.

The Veltmans would most certainly be overjoyed to grace this event once again and to see it garner more resources in order to help it reach its full potential in our scene. We cannot stress enough how great it was to be involved and to hopefully alert more people to the amazing work Samaritans does for anyone in need,
