I received this beautiful message from Indie this morning for Fathers Day ♥️♥️♥️🐝🐝🐝
Happy Father’s Day, Mum.
I know this day is meant to celebrate fathers, but today I want to celebrate you because you’ve been both a mum and a dad to me for my entire life.
Being a single parent can’t have been easy. There were challenges, sacrifices, worries, and responsibilities that most people will never fully understand, yet you carried them all on your own while still making sure I felt loved, supported, and cared for every single day. You never let me go without, and you always put me first, even when it meant putting your own needs aside.
You have been my biggest supporter, my protector, my teacher, and my role model. You taught me the value of hard work, kindness, resilience, and strength. Whenever life became difficult, you found a way through it and showed me what it means to keep going no matter what. The strength you’ve shown throughout your life is something I will always admire.
Looking back, I realise just how much you sacrificed to give me the life I have today. There are so many things you did behind the scenes that I probably didn’t appreciate at the time, but as I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to understand just how much love, effort, and determination it took to raise me on your own.
Thank you for every early morning, every late night, every worry, every sacrifice, every piece of advice, every hug, and every moment you were there when I needed you. Thank you for believing in me, encouraging me, and helping me become the person I am today.
I couldn’t have asked for a better parent. You have filled both roles with more love than I could ever put into words, and I will always be grateful for everything you’ve done for me.
So today, on Father’s Day, I want you to know how much you are appreciated, loved, and respected. You deserve recognition not just today, but every day, for everything you’ve done and continue to do.
Thank you for being my mum, my dad, and my biggest blessing in life.
