Ensonglopedia

Ensonglopedia An Ensonglopedia is a collection of 26 songs linked by a theme, one song for each letter of the alphabet A-Z. We make learning fun through song.

Our current shows are: Science, Animals, British History and now Human. Our first Ensonglopedia of the Human webisode is now on Youtube. Ensonglopedia was established in 2016 by John Hinton, a multi-award-winning writer and performer of an internationally renowned ‘Scientrilogy’ of musical comedies about Darwin, Einstein and Curie. We create exhilarating musical shows and videos, and run workshops, to inspire the next generation of artists, scientists and historians. Our shows are enjoyed by people of all ages from 7 to 97. Shortened versions of all of our shows are also offered to schools and are aimed at KS2 and KS3. All of our shows are rigorously fact checked by expert scientists working in the relevant field. 🌸Our song ‘We Are The Flowers’, a collaboration between Ensonglopedia and disability arts college is being released TODAY! 🌸

🌼Learners at the college wrote the words, composed the music, made the costumes, performed and filmed the video and it will be available on Ensonglopedia’s YouTube channel. 🌼

🌺On the fifth day of our R&D week, we brought everything we’d been doing over the course of the week together and experimented with different characters that could be part of the final piece.🌺

🌍♻️ Plastic Free July seemed like the perfect excuse to write a brand new song! 🎶

Plastic has done some amazing things for humanity… but perhaps we've become just a little too fond of using a material that lasts for centuries to make things we only use for minutes. 😅

If the song stick-stick-stick-sticks around... at least earworms degrade faster than plastic bags! 😄🛍️
