Absolutely amazing evening with the living legend and poet Roger McGough, sharing poems with the Retford Book Festival audience hosted by Pies, Peas and Performances at St Saviours last night. Topped off by a unique rendition of Lily The Pink, brought right up to date with additional lyrics by our own Paul Cookson and backed by TRUE; The Retford Ukele Ensemble. I hope Messrs Putin and Trump are watching!
