Let’s talk about how your SEMI Permanent Makeup SHOULD fade.

No one wants the same brows as they had 10 years ago!

• What we want changes
• The colour we use is often different as we change our hair, or as we age & get lighter with our hair
• The shape we once drew them doesn’t suit us anymore, our face has changed, brows have dropped, eyes have sunk slightly, potentially eyes are now a little hooded

I like to be realistic on what to expect from your Semi Permanent Makeup.

SPMU is LOW maintenance
not NO maintenance

12 / 18 / 24 months top ups are required (reduced price)

Top ups are required because the pigment should fade.

Some people think this a bad thing.

Sandra down the road might tell you her brows have lasted her 10 years, she had them done in Turkey!

You might feel a bit crap if yours started to fade at 18 months with me.

But let me ask you, do Sandra’s 10 year old brows look good?

Or are they blue, grey, blocky, blurry, no hair strokes & misshapen?

Sandra will now have to pay hundreds (likely) to get these removed before any artist will touch her face.

I’ve been Sandra (not in Turkey)
I’ve had 5 sessions of laser on my brows.
I’ve spent hundreds to remove them, because the hair strokes blurred due to carbon rich pigment being used

When fading is a good thing! ✨

These before & after photos are a perfect example of why properly performed Microblading should fade over time.

My lovely client had her brows microbladed several years ago, & as you can see in the before photo, the pigment had softened & faded naturally.

Many people worry when their Microblading begins to disappear, but this is actually exactly what we want to see.

Permanent makeup should age gracefully with the skin, allowing the shape, colour, & style to be refreshed & updated as trends, facial features, & personal preferences change.

In the before image, her previous Microblading had faded to a very soft, subtle ‘stain’. This gave us the perfect canvas to create a fresh set of beautifully defined brows that compliment her features & frame her eyes more effectively.

Her new brows restore structure, balance, & symmetry while still looking soft & natural 🫶🏼

But what stands out most isn’t the brows themselves, it’s how she felt afterwards 💕
